Udet U12 Flamingo 1/8 scale FF'23 Barnstormer's Challenge build thread

This is just my quick build for the Barnstormer challenge for Flite Fest this year. It's the Flamingo from Ernst Udet of WWI fame and WWII shame. It'll have a 1.25m wingspan and hopefully fly off just a power pack C. I'll be updating this part as I decide on more details, as of now I've just started the CAD process.

I'll be painting it like the plane bellow.

I quickly finished up the cad model today. The v-stab is reprofiled to look more like the full scale and I made all the cutout holes for the servos, ailerons, power pod, motor, etc. I also found a good 3d model for the dummy engine on the front.
