Tiny Trainer Phoenix Model
Here are updated 3 channel and 4 channel Tiny Trainer Phoenix models.
John's original models work fine, but I did my own so I could experiment with different paint schemes before painting my TT.
The scheme I chose is inspired by the Citabria - one of my favorites, though I choose all while instead of multi-color.
My plane was initially all brown paper, and I figured a white scheme would give good contrast and be easy to "paint".
I used printable label paper, which worked like a champ in creating this scheme.
Both Phoenix models are tuned to fly like mine.
The 3 channel uses a polyhedral wing and of course turns with rudder only (mixed to use the aileron channel).
The 4 channel has ailerons, which I've implemented as flaperons. They work fine, with little tip stall.
Cycle the flaps before launch and you'll notice the slight elevator deflection.
That's a mix added to mitigate pitch-up when the flaps are deployed.
Unzip the attached PKG files, install as a Phoenix updates and you'll find both Tiny Trainers in the trainer list.
The 4 channel is way more aerobatic that a trainer should be, but that's part of the beauty of this aircraft.
The aileron wing makes it aerobatic, whereas the polyhedral wing is more trainer like.

FYI, the first two pictures are screenshots of my Phoenix models taken from Blender.
The last two pictures are my actual Tiny Trainer "painted' using label paper.
Enjoy! rick
