This is my first time doing builduary.
I have had a very long build list so I figured this would be a good time.
So my list is as such


1.STX
2.48 inch Sbach 342
3 .Grumman widgeon
4. Jetworks mirage (imo there cooler than the gripen

Other builds that are not builduary
1.sopwith pup for ff22 challenge
2.stand off scale extra300

Got every thing cut on to the build.

Step 1.Tail surfaces

I like to start by sanding the hinges instead of beveling, so that’s what I did

Now test fitting

Step 2. Fuselage
i will start with doublers

you put glue on one side and put them together


and then do the other side

now your supposed to glue the doublers to the fuse but the issue is that there’s no markings on the plans on where to put them, so what I did is measure 5 millimeters from the top and make an outline like seen below.

now I can glue them.
but turns out I should put them on the bottom cause there not as big as I thought.

rest of fuse is b folds

I made a little bulkhead

the back has some taper

additional backends


And fuse is complete!

It goes together pretty quick. I think you will be impressed with how easy it is to fly. I built a micro version, but I am also planning on building a 125% version at some point too. Looking good so far.

I also want to ask (maybe I didn’t see on plans) but where did you put the servos on the micro Kadet?

Not a criticism just a suggestion, if you can, get a sharper blade.
Seemed to me that the paper and foam are tearing on your cuts, a sure sign of a dull blade. My first several planned I had the same issue, and when I switched to a sharper blade it got way better.

Part 3. Wings
I decided to do a armin wing because I don’t like the way ft wings look with the scores in them.

I’m gonna start with spars. Instead of a box spar I just took pieces of foam and stacked them till they were the height of the box spar on the plans ( I didn’t feel like doing long score cuts)
)
Then glued were they are supposed to go

Done with one wing and made another (I messed up one wing and then ran out of white foam)

thank you for the suggestion, I’ve been meaning to get a new blade for a while.

+1 for the sharper blade, it makes a world of difference.
You can also resharpen the one you have - I've started doing that to all the blades I have - saves money and keeps e'm out of the landfill.
