Ok I have jigs and Sides in and is dry fit

I glued sides and put servos

(doing them some what correctly)
motor Mount!

esc motor wires

(I’m gonna print motor mount soon at libaray)
missing extension lead, gonna solder one tomorrow
glued fuse
its a mess but I’m gonna call it off for today.

Starting again today
(can’t make it to my lhs rn so I’m doing v stab)
so i want to put a rudder on this plane (I don’t know why)
and I didn’t want the servo sticking out so this is what i came up with

I put servo in
then i put styrofoam plates on it

then i sanded

Glued to top plate

I probably did this in wrong order but its fine
as the important parts are done

ok i im just about done but i need battery extensions and the lhs is closed (time is my worst enemy) so now its just canopy, turtle deck and linkages.
for clarification on the elevons i used normal 9g servos and for rudder i used a 17g because the plane is crazy nose heavy

I should of updated the last bits of building
But it’s all just sanding and linkages and I don’t feel like putting that here, I put a meh vinyl job and some acrilyc on the intake and canopy.
So after flying it the only thing that was damaged was the nose cone.

Ok i started on the widgeon last night and got a good chunk of the fuse finished
(going off balsa plans)

v stab!
(was gonna make a really big rudder but decided not too cause differential thrust

Elevator stuff
as this isn’t a scale build as long as it looks kinda like a widgeion then I’m happy

(the tail assembly was kinda weak so i put strut)

and now its just final electronics and maiden!

Woo hoo! Looking pretty good. Lets hope it holds together well. My friend you've got to take care with your cuts and precision. It'll come with more time in the boat.

so i may or may not of forgot that build-u-aury is February not january.
and then i remembered that the hanger rc build off exists and I'm in it
so thats what im doing today.

ok so here's my plan for the rest of builduary:
1.finish widgeon (electronics coming tomorrow) then either do the mustang or gamebird
2.then build a few other planes if i can fit them in schedule
those planes being

and an f-16 i dont know whos f-16 yet.
the extra 300 stopped being fun to work on and I also don't have a monitor or a computer that wont sound like a xf-84 thunderscreech if i try to draw plans up so that project is on hold atm.

well things aren't going to plan so i had to order some motors again

well i have thought about i will just build a sbach so i dont have a big headache.
inorder to take my head off of the issues i will go to a simpler build the yak 130
(why do business days exist i cant wait till wensday)

its done motors are in servos installed but im gonna hold off flying it because its been really windy.

Started on the stx! My i was having trouble with making plans out of my fusion 360 model so i have parts cut now
Spars were just scrap foam and rest is basic arm in wing

I did the tail, instead of doing a conventional one i did a v-tail. Why? I felt like it

I also did fuse it was just a normal ft style box
(i need to come up with a name now cause its not really a timber x anymore

Now its servos, tail booms and what not
then o have to knockout the sBach
